Managed to purchase 1 TB Seagate HDD off Trademe and it is on the way to us now. It is not the 7800.11 version that played up and recalled but 7800.12 version so we expect it might be a reasonable and stable one. We want to upgrage the hdd of media pc to a larger capacity for long time but has been not viable due the lack of spare time.
But the media pc is not fully loaded with files and data so we were forced to give it a go. Next weekend would be our day for installing this new device.
