We had briefly owned a tablet pc 4 years ago and it was purchased mainly for MID purpose.
However the short battery life and huge thickness and the heat pressed us to make our mind not to stick on it. They said the tablet pc would become the next platform for the notebook pc but it ended up with wee boom.
I am not the big fan of Apple but I appreciate Apple for the signalling Tablet revival due to their launch of iPad. We do not have a plan to buy one but we might purchase a HP tablet or Toshiba that run Windows 7 as the tablet interface is so handy that we can not give a miss to it. Moreover HP slate was supposed to be the prototype of ebook reader so it would be awesome when we use it as ebook reader and multi media device too.
