I love this movie and it was marginally weird and wee bit different how it looked in the trailer but it is still bloody good. Obviously Andy was a patient. At the end, he is 'cured' but chooses to get the lobotomy anyway, as he doesn't want to live with the knowledge of his true past.
I am going to read the book as the movie kept me guessing pretty much. Nice twist.
