I noticed the room lamp was not working when I started the engine on this evening. I have been avoiding to use the vehicle after dark so it might have gone some time in the past.
As I do not have the spare bulb ( actually I had one but it was missing during the moving house) so I browsed eBay and Trademe for the replacement. The PNC is 81240B and Part Number is **981-14004 and Toyota is selling the lamp at special price $1.90 instead of $2.54. However the postage might be bigger than the stuff and I would like to use a led type one as the old bulb consumes almost 10 watts and it means if I forget to turn off the interior lamp, the battery shall be flat in the next morning but the led type consumes just 0.5 watt and overnight's power consumption is merely 7.5 watts or 10 watts. Although I do not experienced a flat battery from such sort of mistakes but I might give it a go with led lamps for the peace of mind. Moreover, the price on eBay is pretty much cheap as just $2 for the led lamp including shipping.
