Philodendron Saga
I have a philodendron that is still young and already one metre in diameter, this lovely specimen is producing a new leaf every couple of weeks and that's real pleasure. Although it is only 600 mm high now, it is starting to grow a trunk and also grows prolific aerial roots which might be an interesting point. I planted it in a heavy grey glazed pot to show off the deep green foliage and it really goes well with on the top of my white book shelf
Unfortunately I broke the longest stem accidentally while I was cleaning the leaves. I did some fix with an iron wire and garden ropes but I doubt it may not come together. However philodendron is very hardy and fast growers so it might produce the longer stem. I hope so.
