The motherboard of the trading PC is M3N78 with hybrid SLI features that enables to run four monitors at the same time. The problem is the PC is connected with pretty many usb devices ( approximately 20 plus?) , it hangs when it boots up after POST and should restart using the main power switch. Of course it starts smoothly without some usb devices attached. However my pc is located at the front of my desk and it means standing up a couple of times to do that job. Hence when it comes to reboot after installing some devices or software, I am not happy with the hassle.
This afternoon an idea had flashed on my brain that is to extend the power switch to my side ( as my desk is a partner desk) and I have the cables and a surplus switch that came from a old pc chassis, and it did not required a rocket science, I installed the switch in five minutes.
Now I am very happy with this new switch and one more thing that this system gives me is a security because it might take pretty much time to find out how to turn on the computer by people except me. So far so good.
