I've ordered KLIC5001 battery ( actually this is designed for the Kodak cameras) as the one in MX Revolution laser mouse became a tad bit shorter in its running time. The original one lasted about three years and I expected at least a year with this new one but it might not last for such long time as the battery is a generic one not the genuine.
However the cost of around $5 including shipping is pretty much attractive and it's usually the shipping cost when I buy it off Trademe or online shops.
It would take a month for me to receive the battery and I might use current one until September or August. If the running time of the battery drops dramatically, say around a couple of days, I will replace it. The original one showed this level of running time when it was one year later and it only passed six months and I presume it would drop its capacity faster than the original one.
