Annabel Lee by E A Poe
This poem has always been my favorite poem since the first time I read it as a teenager.
I had read it on my English class for nearly two decades ago but I never forget of this fantastic poem.
I think this is one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read in my life as Edgar puts so much emotion into it that I am able to feel his pain and his loss of Annabel.
I believe this poem is just perfect in literally every way and wondering how could Edgar write these amazing love poems, yet he had the most traumatic and worst life anyone could ever have. (It's so sad.)
However I am also jealous of him as he thought of this superb poem and how to write this amazingly before me as it describes the exact feeling which I have now.
Actually the line "this maiden she lived with no other thought than to love and be loved by me." just sends shivers down my spine.
I love this poem and Poe has my deepest respect.
