I Understand by Herman's Hermits

This old 45 rpm song takes me back many years and it is just as haunting today as it was when I was a teen. It is truly very nice old song as well as the ultimate romantic song which is dedicated to all of true lovers throughout the world. And you know who you are.

There are many versions of this subject but certainly this is my favorite one and I think the best of all the covers.

I believe, combining with 'Auld Lang Syne', 'I Understand', particularly the string section is a stroke of inspiration. The result was irresistible and very moving and wonderful.
