I think Led Zeppelin must have thought very highly of him in order for them to have given permission for him to sing their song. I grew up listening to LZ and Adam did honor to the song.

I believe Adam improved Zeppelin's original version and Adam also definitely raised the bar on American Idol. Every new contestant might probably be being compared to him since then. He made Simon say that no one can top that. That makes him freaking legendary. He should have won the contest.

He seems to be perfectly connected to the song.
