THE BIG SHORT by Michael Lewis
I would say that this book requires a fair amount of attention to detail and an ability to "connect the dots", but Michael has an amazing talent in communicating very complicated and complex concepts in an understandable manner. As one whose financial circumstances suffered during House Bubble Period, I found the sequencing of events mind-boggling and the concept of a "house of card" immediately jumped into my head. Without trying to be cryptic, I unequivocally recommend this book to anyone who has the slightest interest or curiosity surrounding the financial downturn of 2008...more importantly, this book is an admonition to us all-"if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". Yeah right.
