I'm trying to work out whether the title of a certain TV broadcasting company's news is an attempt at irony, given that most of its content was screened on the news of the previous day, or on the BBC a couple of days ago.
I was a tad bit bemused to hear that a recent story on flooding in Bangkok was concluded with anchor's saying, 'And that was the scene this morning in Bangkok'. The scene might have been similar that morning, but the BBC had screened that story at least 36 hours ago.
And I believe surely at 7am in New Zealand it would be dark in Bangkok?
