I am not an atheist as is the author Christopher but a mild Deist. Even with the difference in faith, Christopher's knowledge, analysis and breakdown of religion and its impact throughout history is impressive. Although I did not agree with all his points, but his presentation of his case is exceptional.
I think Christopher's vast knowledge of the subject, as well as his mastery of the English language (at times overwhelming) make this book a lot more than an opinion. However I believe readers must approach the book with an open mind. If readers dive in thinking and going to refute and battle, don't bother reading it because they might short circuit by themselves.
I am collectively impressed, therefore I might read more titles from this brainy author.
