However please don't misunderstand, this book is a very good read if you like WWII history (the pacific side). It can be slow at times, especially the beginning.
The other aspect was that in many parts, it seemed "over the top" as stated. All in all this is a thought provoking and inspiring read that had me in tears many times.
It made me truly appreciate war veterans. God Bless everyone of them, I can't say it enough! All in all a good read.
