I really enjoyed this book, and loved the stirring parts mixed throughout that drew strong emotions and caused me to reflect on my physical and emotional life. I think this book is good for those who need a little reality check on why their life is actually not so bad, and for those who need a little push toward being a more service-minded and generous person. It was well-written and very entertaining. Some parts were a little heavier than I usually like to venture into with a book I'm reading for entertainment, but it was okay because there was more to this book than just that.
My one minor complaint is that the parts written in Denver's 'voice' were a little irritating because they were written phonetically so you understood his manner of speech, poor grammar and all. However, I did think it was slightly effective for us to get more of a feel for his reality. I suspect that if it would've done mildly better without that element as at times, it could get a wee irritating.
