When I bought this all-in-one machine, I figured it wouldn't last very longs since it was reasonably cheap. That was eight years ago and it never failed me. The scanning features are extremely simple to use and the software doesn't try to install a bunch of crap we don't want like other brand printers. As I use this for mainly scanning and copying right now, I'm pretty amazed whenever I shove a stack of papers into the flatbed scanner, it still manages to grab just one sheet at a time. Some scanners have a hard time with that compared to when they were brand new. Moreover copying is incredibly easy, produces tack sharp copies and this workhorse makes copying pages from books a snap. This is really silent, and has given me no problems at all.
