With the release of the long list of flag contestants released this week, I believe not everyone can pick a favourite. In my opinion, our choices for the new flag look like logo options for a provincial freight company done by the owner's son. And the silver fern alternative flag looks like a vegetarian's pirate flag as well. Furthermore I have more grave branding concerns as I look at most and see tsunami and I suspect it's not good for tourism. Yeah right.
