Toshiba Portege Z30T Cursor issue

My Z30's pointing stick (aka AcuPoint ) occasionally started to move the cursor by itself in some diagonal direction. Eventually it stops to move autonomously, but the problem soon resumes later. When the problem occurred, the laptop became unusable. I am growing tired of this problem.

Initially I removed the ALPS touchpad driver and using the standard driver instead, but it didn't fix the problem. The only option to stop the cursor form moving around on its own was to disable the AcuPoint.

After reading a few forums on this issue, I have successfully fixed my Z30 with a rather simple solution with a Youtube video. It seems to be a design flaw where the battery puts pressure on the ribbon cable for the AcuPoint which causes the random movement of the cursor across the screen as well as occasional stops of the touchpad.

This was really helpful and my only advice would be a bit clearer in the video when he cut the blue cable.
