Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD
This review is based on using the lens a few times. My intentions are to use it mostly for wildlife/birds. So far I'm fairly satisfied with this lens. It's slightly heavy and the zoom twists the opposite way as my Canon lens so that's a bit of a learning stuff but by the end of my first shooting, the muscle memory was virtually functional. The focusing seems quick and quiet. And the first shots with this lens were so stunning that I couldn't believe the detailed clarity of the shots.
I had a hard time tracking seagulls because I couldn't zoom/unzoom as quickly as I needed to be able to. But I think that will get easier too as I will use it more and get acclimated to how it works.
