Unfortunately I've not been impressed at all with the build quality of these torches. I have bought more than a dozen of torches over the past few years and most of them have nice looking and functioned perfectly the first time or the second time. But soon after, the auto ignition feature often does not work, so have to ignite the gas using a fireplace lighter. And it leaks when the gas knob is in the off position. The gas knob does not seal very well and the flame continues to burn a few seconds after knob is off. Flame often sputters badly too. However nothing crucial about it other than the issue of choking, which is to say the worst thing.
