This computer has good performance. I use it with half the ram and a quarter to third of the processor being consumed at any time and I have yet to notice any lag. It rarely goes over room temp. The fan kicks in sometimes but we would be hard pressed to ever notice. Battery life is excellent. I can breeze through around 8 hour before having to plug in, and with intermittent use, I can go 2 days without charging, or at least have a good chunk of battery life left after a day. And the backlit keyboard is handy and Fn shortcuts are mapped out better than most other laptop keyboards.
