Canon EFS 55-250mm IS lens

I think this is a cheap but great bundle lens. It would be good for anything in less than 30m distance. I took many gorgeous pictures of birds on trees or sea. This lens did its job pretty well. Moreover, IS-II means we do not have to carry our tripod everywhere with us. Most of my pictures were crisp, no blur. We will see some blur creeping in after 200 mm focal length.

I have also used it for Macro shots by zooming in on an object from 3m distance. We can get really close and get beautiful bokeh in the background. I guess this is a must have lens for any DSLR starter. The only thing it won't let us is to stand very close to object. We need to be at least 0.85m away to get a focus. However, for indoor close up shots,  18-55 mm kit lens works quite well.
