The USS Milius (DDG 69), a state of the art BMD-capable guided missile destroyer, arrived at Yokosuka. The ship was initially planned to arrive last summer, but NSF, Pacific Fleet delayed the ship’s arrival to ensure completion of the ship’s the Aegis Baseline 9 combat system before joining the 7th Fleet.
The emblem of DESRON 21 still can be seen but soon it will be replaced with DESRON 15.
