Allandale Reserve is at the hills from Lyttleton on the Banks Peninsula. It’s a lovely spot for picnic as well as bird watching. The tide was out while I was there, so it was an opportunity to photograph native birds. Particularly taking pictures of white faced herons was amazing.
Toilet was fairy tidy and easily accessible but sadly the sign was indicating that freedom camping was not viable there.
