Quebec to ban Burqas

Just came across this interesting news whilst browsing through other international news. It is basically a debate arguing whether the Quebec province should ban burqas and niqabs in government settings or not, with their argument being for security, safety and identification purposes.
  
I'd be very interested to see the outcome of it, and how effective it'll remain several months down the line. I doubt NZ would ever do anything as dramatic as this anytime soon but I'm sure the time will come when people will start to question it and this situation may be like ours someday.
