I am not a big fan of MMP system as I do not prefer the party vote system. I believe at least FPP system is more effective and decent than MMP although it has an issue of wasted votes. However New Zealand has running MMP since 1996 and although there is not much wasted votes but I think it is worse to waste tax payers' money and time due to MMP. MMP promised a lot in theory but sadly as in this present governing administration, theory is different to reality because it guaranteed the backdoor entry via undemocratic party list into Parliament. See, how many useless MPs are now in the House?
It would be nice if we'll be given the chance to choose the better system that replaces current one as MMP has already done massive damage to our country.
