Galaxy Note 2 has significantly gained many good reviews and fans like me therefore I have to wonder whether Samsung has gone too far with Mega 6.3. Although Galaxy Mega 6.3 is not a high end device like Galaxy Note 2, I think it would worth to do a head-to-head comparison of the Galaxy Note 2 vs the Galaxy Mega 6.3.
First, Note 2's 5.5 inches screen is slightly humble , compared to Mega's 6.3-inch display. However Note 2 uses a state of the art SAMOLED display and Mega 6.3 adopts PLS LCD display. I think Note 2's formidable SAMOLED screen could easitly beat out Mega 6.3's PLS LCD, as some reviews of PLS LCD have announced that it has slower response time and is pretty prone to a ghosting effect. Secondly, whilst Note 2 uses a 1.6 GHz Quad-core processor, which provides a fairly efficient user environment, Mega 6.3 adopts a 1.7GHz dual-core processor. Note 2's quad-core processor would convincingly sacks Mega 6.3's dual-core processor. Thirdly, personally speaking, I believe Mega 6.3 is moderately bulkier than Note 2 due to its massive 6.3 inch screen. I sporadically think that my Note 2 is mildly clunky but in general, Note 2 size smartphone works best for me particularly when it comes to read ebooks and websites.
In short, I believe Note 2 apparently seems an informed choice if we're looking for an ace of smartphone lines. Moreover there a substantial benefit of exploiting S Pen feature with Note 2 as well as fully complying some application from the newest Galaxy S4 features.
