This morning I was driving to work at 6.30am, hardly any cars on the road and I was stopped at lights with a straight through green but I had a red arrow turning left. I patiently waited for ages but the Nissan next to me activated his common sense when there's not a car in sight. He turned left on a red arrow, but a police unit saw him and pulled him over all lights flashing. I believe he got a $140 ticket.
However I would politely attest that a ticket did change his driving behaviour. Within seven minutes, at another set of lights, I stopped for a right turning orange arrow and the Nissan came out from no where then went up my bum and badly abused me for stopping suddenly when there were no cars on the road. Go strongly figure.
